Carbon Neutral Since 2022
We are proud to confirm that Scottish Fine Soaps has been carbon neutral since 2022, achieved through a combination of reducing emissions and verified carbon offsetting using globally recognised standards such as VCS and Gold Standard.
Our approach is not just about offsetting; we actively work to reduce our carbon footprint year-on-year, using a revenue intensity metric to track and improve performance.
In fact, our efforts have already resulted in over 341,000 kg of CO₂ reduced, removed, or avoided
100% Renewable Energy
Our Scottish sites are powered by 100% renewable electricity, certified through ClimatePartner.
This ensures that every product we manufacture is supported by clean energy, significantly reducing emissions at the source.
ClimatePartner certification provides transparent disclosure of a company’s entire climate action strategy, including carbon footprints, emissions reduction targets, implemented reductions, and financial contribution towards climate projects worldwide.
Responsible Packaging Innovation
We know packaging plays a huge role in sustainability, so we’ve made big changes here too.
Our 300ml and 500ml bottles are now made from:
- 100% Prevented Ocean Plastic (POP)
- Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic
This helps reduce plastic waste and gives new life to materials that would otherwise end up in our oceans.
Zero Waste to Landfill
Scottish Fine Soaps is proud to be Zero Avoidable Waste to Landfill certified.
This means we are actively eliminating waste wherever possible and ensuring responsible disposal across our operations.

As we move into 2026, our focus remains clear:
